In 1930, Fafard Peat Moss Co. ltd was startred by importing peat moss from Germany and selling it to local markets. In 1939 they started their first peat moss bog in Quebec. With expansions through the years, the company now has facilities in (4) U.S. States and (3) Canadian Provinces. As of fall 2006, they employ more than 400 dedicated individuals internationally. They strive to give the highest quality of service and products to ever changing markets.
